N.E.M.S. was started in 1993 to help marshal charity cycle rides. .

 

Between 1993 and 2000 N.E.M.S. supplied all the marshals on Bike Events events in the Southern half of England.

From 1995 to 2001 N.E.M.S. signed all the routes for Bike Events.

From 1996 to 2001 N.E.M.S. organized all the Cycle Ride routes for Bike Events.

2002 N.E.M.S. signed all Bike Events Routes in the Southern Half of England. 2003 N.E.M.S organized routes, signed all events in the southern half of England as well as supplying marshals. 2004 and 2005 we signed the routes on all the big events for Bike Events as well as helping with support vehicles.

 

Between 1994 and 1998 N.E.M.S. supplied marshals for about half of British Heart Foundation's London to Brighton Cycle Ride route. N.E.M.S. now signs this route as well as supply marshals for some of the more high profile sections of this event.

2003 N.E.M.S helped organize some of the routes and supplied marshals for the Bike Show Ride.

 

N.E.M.S. has been involved with Tendring District Council and the Tour de Tendring Charity Cycle Ride since 1995, when we supplied just a few marshals. We supplied all the marshals in 1996 and did so up to and including 2003, N.E.M.S. reorganized the route in 1998 to the route that is still being used today. N.E.M.S. has also since 1999 supplied all the support vehicles, and Car-Parking Stewards, N.E.M.S. has signed the route since 1998. N.E.M.S. have been involved with The Basingstoke Big Wheel (In aid of St Michael's Hospice Basingstoke) since the first event in 1995, signing the route and supplying the marshals. From 1996 to 2001 we organized the route/s including the signing. From 1996 to 2000 we supplied the marshals. 2002 we again supplied the marshals as well as signing the route. 2003/04/05 we signed the three routes this ride now has.

In 1999 N.E.M.S. organized a cycle ride for the Aylesbury and District Province of The Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, for the Provincial Grand Primo's and other charity appeals. This event made more money for the Province appeals than any other event has ever done for this Province. N.E.M.S. signed The Essex Castle Ride route in 2001. We have done other duties on this event since.

Since 2000 N.E.M.S. has supplied the marshals and support vehicles for the Home Farm Trust Essex Cycle Ride as well as signing the route.

N.E.M.S. has done Car-Parking at Horse and Classic Car Shows.

 

N.E.M.S. supplied stewards for the Millennium Fireworks display on Blackheath in London

 

N.E.M.S. helps on events held by Aylesbury Town Council, mainly with road closures, stewarding and crowd control. The events include, The Queens Jubilee Visit and Celebrations, Battle of Britain Parade, The Mayors Christmas Carol Service and other functions.

 

N.E.M.S. has a good working relationship with the following organizations, St Johns Ambulance, Red Cross and R.A.Y.N.E.T. who also help on the events organized by Bike events, Cycle Rides Tendring District Council, St Michael's Hospice and Home Farm Trust.
